The chocolate wars Bryan Alcox 80-91 i think in this book archie, took a picture of emile janza while he was, well... going to the bathroom... sortof. He was going to use the picture as a weapon he said. Also jerry renault has been refusing to take place in the anual chocolate sale. This made brother leon angry, even though the sale was voluntary. It made him angry because he took some of the schools money and used for himself, and he had to pay it back before the real principle got out of the hospital. Caroni, a student had been blackmailed to tell leon that it was one of the famous vigil assighnments to refuse the chocolate for 10 days. After thetenth day, jerry still refused to take the chocolates. This book is... alright for an assighned book. Not the worst, but stlii not my favorite.
Dive book three Pgs1-?alot Bryan Alcox In this book the 4 diversstar ling adryana dante and kaz are trying to get the treasure from the shipwreck they discovered. they want to getit befor cutter, kappas, and reardon get it. They are looking in the wrong place though. The 4 divers and their friend captain vanover go inside a mini sub, only to encounter clarence, the tiger shark that got left behind form his pack. the shark rammend them, and once he went away but the sub wopuldnt float anymore. Soo they had to fget out at the bone crushinf 200 feet they get out, all but the captain, then when star tries to rescue him, she runs out of aair and gets the bends. After a while, kaz and adriana dived 1 more time for the treasure with the late vanovers frien, english, a french diver who dives at great pressures to fi x oil rigs. Star withh the bends, and dante who will never dive again man the boat at the topside with the captain I like this book because its exciting, just like i put for everyother book. on these blogs. It is the last book in a 3 book series.
So Jerry refuses to sell the chocolates. The kids like Tubs, John, Brian and Paul were having trouble selling the chocolates. Arichie allegedly has a picture of Emile doing "private things"... Jerry still won't take the chocolates. At first it was a Vigils assignement, but the assingment ended, and he still won't take the chocolates. Another Vigil assignment is that a group of boys have to dance when their teacher says the word enviorment untill the teacher figures it out. So far, i like the book. I like how its sort of about a revolution {again} and I like how the Vigils are like more in charge at the school than anyone.
21-28 of the Chocolate War Nicole The chocolate sales are way behind. Only like 6 people have sold 50 chocolates, and some have only sold about 6. Brother Leon tells Archie itsall his fault, because of Jerry. So the Vigils try to scare Jerry into selling the chocolates, but it doesn't work. then, he calls the girl from the bus stop, and that doesn't work out to well. Also, a poster that says "screw the chocolate sale and the vigils" is put up, but obie takes it down very quickly. Because of this, Archie is put on probation. Now, Archie is getting prank calls, where it's all silent, every night.Also, his poster in his locker that says "Do I Dare Disturb The Universe" is basically tagged. Also, his new shoes are slashed. Thirdly, his art projest has gone missing. Its getting better. It has a lot of tension coming because Jerry has stuff missing, Brother Leon could be in HUGE trouble, Goober quit sports, and Archie is on probation. I like the book.
Brian is slow to see that the sale is cause the The Vigils. he does not want to believe it and would rather believe that everyone is more for the sale. He finally realizes it but he doesnt really care. as long as he can report good news and as long as Brother Leon is happy with the totals Brian is happy. He plays "dumb" when Carter goes to him and gives boxes of chocolates to boys he knows did not sell them. He shows the ways in least resistance is the easiest and way and having some doubt to both Brother Leon and The Vigils take over of the sale he goes along with it because in so doing he takes away any personal risk. Brian is a foil for Jerry who always fights least resistance and does that which causes risk to himself both emotionally and physically. The Vigils plan is working perfectly. The general student support for Jerry had been getting better and some kids also not selling the chocolates. of The Vigils for a few days Jerry had become a kind of hero. The Vigils had to do something not only to sell the chocolates but also to turn the popularity against Jerry. Cormier does not describe how The Vigils did their plan and how they sold all the chocolates and made the sale popular but by this chapter it is clear that whatever they have done is working. maybe Cormier is different about the details because like the mafia The Vigils work quietly and do not give away their secrets. Harold Darcy an normal anonymous student questions Jerry showing that popular feelings has came from support of Jerry. Jerry's response in class is bad as Brother Leon tells him and the baddnes of the other students tells him. Jerry is even on his own now as the other students feel that Jerrys refusal to sell the chocolates is an example of his belief that he is better than them.The Vigils attack in Chapter 31. Emile Janza is their "main man" against Jerry because Archie has used the picture to make sure Janza is in the fight. Janza first makes Jerry upset by calling him a queer. Cormier goes into the fact that as a high school boy being called a queer can be worse than being called anything else and that it can take away confidence. Janza makes fun of Jerry with the idea and Jerry responds how Janza wants. Then, when Jerry is upset a group of boys go on him making him physically upset. The Vigils attack from all sides and making Jerry's life hellish. Jerry cannot fight back. Despite having been attacked all over Jerry does not weaken. He also makes the decision to fight alone and does not tell his father what is going on so far this book is addicting and i enjoy reading it.
In the book, the salesd are way behind and and many people haven't reached 50 boxes.Jerry still refuses the chocolates and the vigils atart scaring him into buying the chocolate. It doesn't work. The vigils tag jerrys poster that said, "do i dare disturb the world?" They also slash his sneakers that wwere new. Eventually, archie decides to help everyone. He gets the vigils to get permits to sell the chocolates, and they sell alot of chocolates. They distribute the sold chocolates between everyone, if if they didn't sell any, just so they would reach the quota. Jerry still refuses the chocolates. Also, one guty thst was going to get an assighnment, i can't remember his name, but he treated archie like he wasn't a big deal, and told him to cut the crap. Carter beat him up. The vigils were worried about people refusing things like that. They though it wasa because of jerry, and thats why they vandalised his stuff. Also, emile janza and some other kids beat him up really bad after they called him gay.
this book is good because it's getting sort of intense. evrybodys about the chocolates,and im wondering what theyre going to do to jerry next.
Morgan B. The Tale tale of desperix book 4- page 156
Miggy Sow was talking to her self when she her some one esle stated to talk to her. It was Rofial the rat trying to get her to do some thing to kill the Princces. He said that if the catch the princces and her to give lessons on how to be a princces. She agred to do it!!, so the went up to the pricces pea's room a pulled her down in to the dungen. When despreix woke up the next day and he she was gone, he when in to a mouse hole to find the thread keeper. When he got the theard from the thread keeper he rolled it all the way untill he got to the kitchen. And he smelled some thing wounderful. It was the cook, she was cooking soup! It was he law to cook soup in the kingdom. And soup stated to talk to desperix and wanted him to try it! Some thats what he did.
jerry remembers his mother's illness and death. she was a very hard-working woman. after her death, his father nor jerry cried or showed any emotions. jerry's father is a pharmasist. the next day, Brother Leon puts up a chart so that each child could record how many boxes of chocolates they have sold. Brother Eugene's room looked as if "someone dropped a bomb in there. he cries and Brother Leon is very cruel about it and Brother Eugene's left school. next, jerry is back at football tryouts. he tries and tries his hardest to do very good at tryouts but on the 7th try, he made a beautiful pass to The Goober and he scored. next, jerry is at the meeting, and he refuses to sell the chocolates. in the next chapter they tell the progress of some of the boys. in chapter 15, it was a conversation between emile janza and arche. they were talking about the picture archie took of emile in the bathroom. the picture isn't real, archie pretended to take the picture. now emile is trying to be really nice to Archie.
i really love this book so far and it has a great story line. now, i understand why it is called "the chocolate WAR"
Kasey the chocolate war Jerry is still not selling the chocolates. People are starting to tell him good job and keep it up. others the like goober tell him to start selling the choclates. Goober was going to stop doing any activities with trinity, but wants jerry to start selling the chocolates. Jerry said he would not sell them if he quits. Goober almost told jerry that itt was his fault for the distruction of room 19 but didn't. Later a boy was counting the counts for the kids who sold the chocolates. only 5 or 6 kids got to there requirement. others got as low as 6. brother leon knew it was jerry's fault that the kids are not selling the chocolates. So he went to archie to try to get jerry to sell the chocolates. Archie tried to tell him that the assinment was over but brother leon did not understand.
this is a good book so far and i am hoping to see if jerry ever sells the chocolates.
Chocolate Wars 29-the End Nicole The choclate sales "stageringly" increase, and are doing EXTREMELY well. its all thanks to the Vigils to. they would go out and sell a lot of chocolates, then say random people sold them. All of the boxes besides jerry's 50 are sold. The vigils make Janza pick a fight with jerry to get him to sell the chocolates. he calls jerry queer and he and about 15 other kids beat jerry up. the next day, archie sets up a fight/raffle. jerry can get back at janza, and the 50 boxes can be sold. Except, jerry gets crused,archie gets in trouble by bro. jauques but gets off the hook by bro. leon. Jerry gets really hurt, buts gonna be okay, and all the chocolate is sold. Obie still hates archie and wants archie to finally get in trouble. THE END :]
I liked it. it was full of tension at the end. But overall, i think it was a good book.
blonde ambition: an a list novel by zoey dean pgs. 1-75 Anna and Ben are back together and very happy, Sam and Anna are best friends, Cammie still hates Anna, Sam likes Adam, and Cammie is starting to think Dee and Sam are boring! Sam and Annas english film{most of the previous book in the seris; that cause ALL the drama} turns out good. Annas sister goes to yet another rehab, but is in touch with her father, and for a suprise is close to him. Then annas dad girlfriend {who gave anna an internship at Apex} fires anna as her intern because of a party{last book} that anna helped save her sister, who was having problems, thanks to cammie. But, Cammies dad {who works with annas ex-boss} decides to keep anna, so now anna is cammies dads intern. Anna is working on a big project with cammies dad, which annoys cammie. To make it worse for cammie, her new stepmom has a daughter, who comes to live with her. That turns out really bad. Her name is mia, and she took cammies clothes and took a script from her dads {very private} home office. Also, bens jealous of annas dads driver{hes younger, like 20 i think} because he walked in when django{the driver} was about to have dinner with anna. I liked the previous books in the series, and i like this one so far. im happy that anna and ben are back toghther, buti think thats gonna turn out bad too. Bens gotta go back to school, and is jealous. I like this book a lot
the chocolate war Kasey Harmon Soon the chocolate sells became popular. all the kids seem to want to sell the chocolates as soon as possible. even if you didn't sell the chocolates carter somehow would give you credit, goober noticed this when he stopped selling the chocolates. soon saposivly every one except Jerry has sold there requirement of chocolates. Archie decided to have a raffle. the raffle would be who every buys a ticket, that person get to control one action from each ticket. the actions are for the people who would be boxing. Jerry and Janza ended up fighting and Janza hurt him so bad when brother jaques stopped it, and when goober was the only one to go up to him and help him, Jerry had to be hospitalized. The awful thing was that Obie saw brother Leon watch. He did nothing the entire time. In the end Archie told Obie that he tipped brother Leon off.
Thomas Tunnels Pages 244-250 Will and Cal are alone in the Jerome house. after the Grandmother leaves with uncle Tam, CAl wants to show Will where he will be sleeping at. but Will's attension is elsewhere. his yern for discovery lurs him into a alien room. it is a mix of a Victorian surgin's room, a kitchen, and a mad scientist's lair. laid out on the counter, there are several surgical knives, next to that, on a shelf, there's several pickled specimens, with formaldihyde solutions. there are several dried meats over what appears to be a stove. this is when Will leaens that there is something else down here than him and Cal. he suddenly hears a mechine gun like sound, then the steps of large feet, with machette like claws. he turns around to find that there is a huge monster standing behind him. it's huge teeth beared, drool over his bald chin, his pink body looming closer, and little 2 foot Cal walks over and kicks it in the gut and says. "get out of here Bartbely, you stinky cat." Will, dumfounded, doesn't press for answers and is happily led by Cal out of the kitchen and into the Den.
these pages aren't alot, but they provide insight into the foundation of the homes, and what the colony's culture is like. im still trying to figure out how a house cat can be like that. most houses probally have one of those creatures in it. these people aren't big eaters, but they get enough food to live happily down there.
kristen: a clique novel. morgan falasca. pages 1-45.
so far, a girl named kristen gregory is part of the pretty committee. everyone in the committee has gone away for the summer, but she's stuck here, tutoring for clothes money. she tutoring a nine-year old brat that calls her ms. gregory a lot and she hates it. after her dad gets back, she's quitting. but minutes before the brats dad walks in, the brats older brother, dune walks in, she is speechless. he was such a "ten!!!" she decided she can stay a little longer, she guesses. when the dad walks in, he's not mad at the son for getting kicked out of camp, but instead of worrying about that, they go surfing in the most disgusting water kristen has ever seen, but she doesn't care, its for a major hottie. the little nine-year-old brat wasn't going into that water, for two reasons, one, she just got a makeover ! and two, massie wouldn't even think of going into that nasty water. the dad and dune throw her in anyway, that was my favorite part. a little later, kristen and dune and the nine-year old brat drove to the skate park called the GAS. which was right near the country club, so they got a lot of golf balls in the skate park. mean while, kristen meets some of dune's friends and she likes him even more now. but what ruins the whole thing is when skye comes over and flirts with the guys and asks them if they want to come to the club for a pool party later that day, but completely ignoring kristen. now, kristen is worried she is going to lose dune to skye.
so far, this book is very interesting. i love lisi harrison's books because their very girly like me, and they relate to my life also. (most of the time). my favorite part of this book so far would be the beginning, where she's talking to the brat about massie tips and giving her completely wrong tips. it was very funny and i also love the part where kristen sees dune and becomes speechless. i really like these books and i'm looking forward in reading more of her books.
In this book, gecko fosse was convinced to be a getaway driver for his brother. Everything was going alright until he swerved to avoid an old lady and crashed. He got sent to juvie for 2 months, where he got beat up. He was there until a man named... something... came and offered him a chance to stay at a place called the halfway house. It was like being free except you had to do community service, attend therapy, and go to school. He took the offer. A guy named Arjay moran was sent to juvie for 3 years for apparent attempted murder, even though he said it was an accident. He was huge and dark skinned, but surprisinglyy peaceful. The last kid to be offered the program was terence something. He was a sarcastic kid. You don’t know why he was in juvie yet though. They all got to the halfway house, and immeadetly gecko and terence started fighting. They all went to school, and gecko was intimidated by everyone, even though everyone was intimidated by him. No one meesed with him, event though he was not a threat. Terence also took a 25 minute bathroom break every period. I like this book because it actually takes place in the current time. Also, its not afraid to curese. This book actually reminds me of the chocolate war, except better. Oh yeah by the way… the half way house was in new york, and all the kids lived in new england.

kristen tries to improve dune, so she trusts her 9-year-old student to picking out her clothes. she firsts want this ah-dorable dress from roxy but ripple (student) says no, he likes this worn out sweatshirt and baggy shorts. later on, she comes to find out that ripple only set her up because she likes skye better than kristen for her brother. kristen sees skye with the same dress kristen wanted, on at the pool. kristen gets really mad at ripple and ripple fires her. she hires skye as her "massie interpreter" for the summer. for school, kristen formed the "witty committee" which is a webcam for 4 people in a group, talking about people they admire. she picked cleopatra for hers, and there were 3 others. so, as the story progresses, she tries to get be the hero and come out with a plan to get revenge on the country club. so what they want to do is sneak into the club and get revenge, but skye "just so happened" to be there and saved their butts, so now all the boys and of course ripple admire her more..! so kristen gets really pissed. the guards found kristen cause she wanted to try to save her reputation and be the hero (again) and be the last one out, and she got caught by the guards and sent downtown. her mother was so mad and she punished her forever! but... dune came in (as her prince) and saved her butt, saying that ripple was the one who should have gotten caught, because she snuck out and went to the club without permission. therefore, her mother lets her go easy and she doesn't get punished. later on in the story, the witty committee and herself need a plan to get revenge on skye for taking the boy she likes (no she didn't). they came up with the plan of emptying the pool and filling it with water (remember these people are really smart) and they had to find a way to get this jell-o to harden in this 80 degrees temperature. but some how, they did! skye was meeting dune at the club again (at mid-night) and so it was really dark, they couldn't see the redness of the jell-o. so skye jumps in, in her bikini while dune watches her. she screams and he laughs, she gets pissed and leaves, and the witty committee laughs and dune hears them, so they get kristen to go out there to tell him that she likes him and she hopes he likes her back. he does. so before he leaves for his trip, he ties his lucky necklace around her neck and told her he'll wait for him. i really like this book. it's very girly and romantic, all of my favorite things in a book! my favorite part was the part when skye jumps in the jell-o. he sounds really cute and i would LOVE to meet him[:
The prime minister waas worried about the world he knows, and also the magic world. the magic world has been messing with the muggles. The minister of magic, cornelioud fudgehas been visisting the prime minister to wazrn him about lord voldimort and the death eaters. They have been using the imperious curse the death curse and curses on muggles. They also have been destroying land. The minister of magic has come to the prime minister to tell him about that and also the cases with harry potter, just to let him in on how things were going. one day cornelious fude came through a painting telling him that he is not the minister of magic any more, and that the new minister of magic would come and talk to him. The new minister came and he used to be the head of arurers. He also looked like a lion Bellatrix, and Narcissia came to snapes house. Snape has gone back under the dark lord. Wormtail was at his house. Narcissia came to tell him about lucias moyfow, her huisband. Snape already knew that he was in jail, and that Voldamort wants revenge by getting draco mayfow to do one of his tasks and die from it. She made him promise to help him traine and make him safe. Harry got a letter from dumbledore that he wouls come pick him up to take him somewhere safe for the rest of the summer so that nothing happens to him. when dumble dore came he told him of how serious left him every thing he owned to him. Buckbeak is going to stay with hagrid, and he also has a house. The house has to go to a blood relitive and the only one left is bellatrix, his cousin who killed him. The only way he could tell if he could have the house is if the house elf that belonged there follows and order without controll it worked too.
Thomas Tunnels pgs 250-260 Will and Cal head up to thier room. Will finds that it resembles his own room, same size, same furniture placement. therre are two beds and a wardrobe, a nightstand, and, what appears to be, a fish tank. with the sound of a gong, Cal rushes down stairs for some dinner, and then followed by Will. this is where Will meets Mr. Jerome. he is a large man, that is about it. the rest of his features are the same as every other man down in the Colony. he clears his throat for a very weird prayer, but it is still clear that the people here believe the same as Will does, Roman Catholic, but with a different version, like it was the Church of England. but Mr. Jerome summons a slave, a pathedic looking man. he carried several spiced soups, and a side dish of vitamin rich, no sugars added, GRUBS, and still alive too. Will doesn't even touch his food. Mr. Jerome is showing a fierce amount of hostility to Will. the servant takes away the soup and begins to surve the main course, mush. Will aslo learns that there really isn't much love in this family. with finishing his diner, Mr jerome storms out of the house. then seven bells ring, and the Colony begins to sturr, everyone heading to one place, even Will and Cal. i liked these 10 pages. it showed that Will is desprate to leave, but yet newly formed emotions to Cal and Tam and every other plesent being tie him down. i am very interested to learn more about the foundation of the Colony, and Chester's fate.
blonde ambition pgs 76-132 nicole eberyone in annas achool already knows about her working on hermosa beach, even though she didnt say anything. Dee gets a bf from brooklyn whos in a band that her dad manages. On hermosa beach, anna starts to like the youngest producer Danny. Some people from the set went to a place called Dublins and Anna went with Danny and they danced a little. That made her like him even more. Cammie took Mia shopping, but still hates her. Cammie went to a bball game with Sam and dee, but sam only wen because of adam, but in the end, cammie and adam kiss at the after party. That mad sam sad and mad at cammie. Ben calls anna too much and shouldnt even be in CA, he should be back at Princeton where he's enrolled and schools already started like 4 weeks ago! But, they went on a nice date, which got intereupted by Annas internship for Clark. {It was cut short} Ben met Danny, and the fact that Anna and Danny danced came out which got ben jealous and mad, and anna feeling guilty. I like this book alot because its interesting how its the story of 4 girls, [but mainly three; cammie sam and anna] and how they each have different problems.
blonde ambition 133-194 nicole Cammie really likes adam now, and she finds out hes at a concert, but waaay in the back, so she uses her daddys fame to get front row seats and backstage passes for her and adam. So adam gets to meet the singer/gutarist/lead and gets a sorta private concert. On hermosa beach, anna makes a huge save. [it was with the costumes] so people are like good job to her and stuff. Cammie and adam go to the hermosa beach party{cammie dad} where anna is because of her job, but sams dad is there for like an interveiw because he guest stars in one part {really famous actor}, so sams there too. A cute guy starts flirting with sam, but his drunk friend rats him out[not on purpose] that hes using her for her dad. makes her mad because usually she doesnt fall for it. since adam and anna went out for like a day and hes still not completly over her, he gets sad when he sees anna and danny together. danny and anna left the party in a horse-carriage thing {how cheesy/romantic!} cammie talks to the entertainment-singer guy, and her and adam go to a party, where dee is there...with Mia; the like 12 year old. at a like 18 and older party. Cammie gets mad because mia was drunk and it was dees fault for bringing her there. So cammie makes sure shes all right, and adam thinks its nice that cammie really "has a heart." I liked how anna cammie and sam were all at the party because of like their scedules and their family. i like this book alot.

Anna gets fired because the tabliods find out some stuff about the lead actor on Hermosa Beach, and it allwgedly came from Anna; even though Anna had no clue what was going on. Sam help Anna figure out that Cammie set her up to fire her for "taking Ben, taking Sam, and making Adam still like her"...Basically, she blames her for messing up her life. Sam and Anna tell Mia{who heard Cammie tell the press} how bad it was, and Mia tells cammies dad. Her credit cards lose their money, and Cammies Beamer gets taken away, meanwhile its Cammies 18th birthday. So Cammie threw herself a huge party, but when she goes to pay for it: declined! So she borrows money from Dee. Then she goes to drive home and her cars being towed....Asks dee for a ride. Anna gets her job back; but doesnt want it. Harry potter and the half blood prince Kasey page 52-end After harry and dumbledore left the house he took harry to meet and old retired profesor slughorn. Dumbledore wanted harry to convince him to come back. Harry did. Dumbledore told him he liked to pick famous people as favorites. When they arrived to the burrow dumbledore told harry that he would give him private lessons. Later Harry, hermionie, and the weaslyes went to diogon ally to get there suplies. While there harry hermionie, and ron ran into malfoy. Later while in fred and georges new joke shop, harry saw malfoy running to knockturn ally. so the threesum went under harry's invisablity cloak and followed him a shop. Inside he scared the owener by showing him something. Harry thought that malfoy is now a death eater and was determand to be correct. At the beginning of the school year. harry found out he was now the quidich team captin. Also, he wasn't planning to go into potions class but professor mogonagle persuaded him. When he was lent a book it was covered in notes. Also it had better ways of doing the potions and finding cures. It was the halfblood princes's book. He had ended up using the book all year. He had earned the felix felexes, a lucky potin from using the book. Ginny, ron, dean thomas, katie bell, and three other charactors were on harry's quidich team. Lavender brown now became interested in ron and they went out. Ron and hermionie stopped talking to each other too. Harry started getting feelings for ginny, and after awhile she broke up with dean and went out with harry. during harry's privet lessions dumbledore would show harry memories of voldermorts past. the first was when voldamorts mother lived with her family the gaunts, and tried to kill the man she loved, a muggle, tom riddle. the second was of a yunger dumbledore coming to an orphanage to tell tom riddle jr. that he is a wizard. The third was voldermort at school, with his friends, now death eaters. The fourth was of a memory of him asking professor slughorn about horhexes. wich harry had to find out the awnser by using the lucky potin. it is when your heart breacks and you can only die if all the peices are destroyed. Voldermort now has this. Another is of him killing is father,uncle, and grandparents. The last is of him killing a fat ladie for some of his airlooms. Malfoy did end up being a death eater, and his task was to kill dumbledore. Scince he couldn't snape did, and excaped. Snape was also the half blood prince.
Thomas Tunnels Finished Will definatly needs to escape. this place is too dangerous to stay for long. the Styx are really in Will's face. harasing him aroung every corner. so uncle Tam gives him a hand. he give Will a map, one that leads through a place called the Eternal City. no need to worry. the people there are all dead. a airborn strian of a plague took care of that. he also siad that patrols of Styx with bald dovermens on staroids as little pets. but Will is up for it. anything to get out. as he is on his midnight journy, he has the fortune of bumping into Cal and his trusty side kick Bartleby. after Will rescues Chester from the hold, the Styx catch up with him, and their leader, Rebecca. Will's own sister is a Styx. they take Chester back to the hold and Will and Cal escaped. after a fun Adventure of the Eternal city and it's plague, Will and Cal finally make it to the surface world. but because Will can't live with himself, nor Cal can cope, they end up going back. this time, a styx batalion has formed. but uncle take maneged to kill several, before they took his life. with the help of Imago, they escape to the Miners trian to head off into the Deeps, to where Will's father and Chester would be.
this book was boring at first, but near the end it was a real page turner.i can't wait for the next book to come out.

in this book archie, took a picture of emile janza while he was, well... going to the bathroom... sortof. He was going to use the picture as a weapon he said. Also jerry renault has been refusing to take place in the anual chocolate sale. This made brother leon angry, even though the sale was voluntary. It made him angry because he took some of the schools money and used for himself, and he had to pay it back before the real principle got out of the hospital. Caroni, a student had been blackmailed to tell leon that it was one of the famous vigil assighnments to refuse the chocolate for 10 days. After thetenth day, jerry still refused to take the chocolates.
This book is... alright for an assighned book. Not the worst, but stlii not my favorite.

They are looking in the wrong place though. The 4 divers and their friend captain vanover go inside a mini sub, only to encounter clarence, the tiger shark that got left behind form his pack. the shark rammend them, and once he went away but the sub wopuldnt float anymore. Soo they had to fget out at the bone crushinf 200 feet they get out, all but the captain, then when star tries to rescue him, she runs out of aair and gets the bends. After a while, kaz and adriana dived 1 more time for the treasure with the late vanovers frien, english, a french diver who dives at great pressures to fi x oil rigs. Star withh the bends, and dante who will never dive again man the boat at the topside with the captain
I like this book because its exciting, just like i put for everyother book. on these blogs. It is the last book in a 3 book series.

So Jerry refuses to sell the chocolates.
The kids like Tubs, John, Brian and Paul were having trouble selling the chocolates. Arichie allegedly has a picture of Emile doing "private things"... Jerry still won't take the chocolates.
At first it was a Vigils assignement, but the assingment ended, and he still won't take the chocolates. Another Vigil assignment is that a group of boys have to dance when their teacher says the word enviorment untill the teacher figures it out.
So far, i like the book. I like how its sort of about a revolution {again} and I like how the Vigils are like more in charge at the school than anyone.

The chocolate sales are way behind. Only like 6 people have sold 50 chocolates, and some have only sold about 6.
Brother Leon tells Archie itsall his fault, because of Jerry.
So the Vigils try to scare Jerry into selling the chocolates, but it doesn't work. then, he calls the girl from the bus stop, and that doesn't work out to well.
Also, a poster that says "screw the chocolate sale and the vigils" is put up, but obie takes it down very quickly. Because of this, Archie is put on probation. Now, Archie is getting prank calls, where it's all silent, every night.Also, his poster in his locker that says "Do I Dare Disturb The Universe" is basically tagged. Also, his new shoes are slashed. Thirdly, his art projest has gone missing.
Its getting better. It has a lot of tension coming because Jerry has stuff missing, Brother Leon could be in HUGE trouble, Goober quit sports, and Archie is on probation.

Brian is slow to see that the sale is cause the The Vigils. he does not want to believe it and would rather believe that everyone is more for the sale. He finally realizes it but he doesnt really care. as long as he can report good news and as long as Brother Leon is happy with the totals Brian is happy. He plays "dumb" when Carter goes to him and gives boxes of chocolates to boys he knows did not sell them. He shows the ways in least resistance is the easiest and way and having some doubt to both Brother Leon and The Vigils take over of the sale he goes along with it because in so doing he takes away any personal risk. Brian is a foil for Jerry who always fights least resistance and does that which causes risk to himself both emotionally and physically.
The Vigils plan is working perfectly. The general student support for Jerry had been getting better and some kids also not selling the chocolates. of The Vigils for a few days Jerry had become a kind of hero. The Vigils had to do something not only to sell the chocolates but also to turn the popularity against Jerry. Cormier does not describe how The Vigils did their plan and how they sold all the chocolates and made the sale popular but by this chapter it is clear that whatever they have done is working. maybe Cormier is different about the details because like the mafia The Vigils work quietly and do not give away their secrets.
Harold Darcy an normal anonymous student questions Jerry showing that popular feelings has came from support of Jerry. Jerry's response in class is bad as Brother Leon tells him and the baddnes of the other students tells him. Jerry is even on his own now as the other students feel that Jerrys refusal to sell the chocolates is an example of his belief that he is better than them.The Vigils attack in Chapter 31. Emile Janza is their "main man" against Jerry because Archie has used the picture to make sure Janza is in the fight. Janza first makes Jerry upset by calling him a queer. Cormier goes into the fact that as a high school boy being called a queer can be worse than being called anything else and that it can take away confidence. Janza makes fun of Jerry with the idea and Jerry responds how Janza wants. Then, when Jerry is upset a group of boys go on him making him physically upset. The Vigils attack from all sides and making Jerry's life hellish. Jerry cannot fight back. Despite having been attacked all over Jerry does not weaken. He also makes the decision to fight alone and does not tell his father what is going on so far this book is addicting and i enjoy reading it.

In the book, the salesd are way behind and and many people haven't reached 50 boxes.Jerry still refuses the chocolates and the vigils atart scaring him into buying the chocolate. It doesn't work. The vigils tag jerrys poster that said, "do i dare disturb the world?" They also slash his sneakers that wwere new. Eventually, archie decides to help everyone. He gets the vigils to get permits to sell the chocolates, and they sell alot of chocolates. They distribute the sold chocolates between everyone, if if they didn't sell any, just so they would reach the quota. Jerry still refuses the chocolates. Also, one guty thst was going to get an assighnment, i can't remember his name, but he treated archie like he wasn't a big deal, and told him to cut the crap. Carter beat him up. The vigils were worried about people refusing things like that. They though it wasa because of jerry, and thats why they vandalised his stuff. Also, emile janza and some other kids beat him up really bad after they called him gay.
this book is good because it's getting sort of intense. evrybodys about the chocolates,and im wondering what theyre going to do to jerry next.

Miggy Sow was talking to her self when she her some one esle stated to talk to her. It was Rofial the rat trying to get her to do some thing to kill the Princces. He said that if the catch the princces and her to give lessons on how to be a princces. She agred to do it!!, so the went up to the pricces pea's room a pulled her down in to the dungen. When despreix woke up the next day and he she was gone, he when in to a mouse hole to find the thread keeper. When he got the theard from the thread keeper he rolled it all the way untill he got to the kitchen. And he smelled some thing wounderful. It was the cook, she was cooking soup! It was he law to cook soup in the kingdom. And soup stated to talk to desperix and wanted him to try it! Some thats what he did.

jerry remembers his mother's illness and death. she was a very hard-working woman. after her death, his father nor jerry cried or showed any emotions. jerry's father is a pharmasist. the next day, Brother Leon puts up a chart so that each child could record how many boxes of chocolates they have sold. Brother Eugene's room looked as if "someone dropped a bomb in there. he cries and Brother Leon is very cruel about it and Brother Eugene's left school. next, jerry is back at football tryouts. he tries and tries his hardest to do very good at tryouts but on the 7th try, he made a beautiful pass to The Goober and he scored. next, jerry is at the meeting, and he refuses to sell the chocolates. in the next chapter they tell the progress of some of the boys. in chapter 15, it was a conversation between emile janza and arche. they were talking about the picture archie took of emile in the bathroom. the picture isn't real, archie pretended to take the picture. now emile is trying to be really nice to Archie.
i really love this book so far and it has a great story line. now, i understand why it is called "the chocolate WAR"

Jerry is still not selling the chocolates. People are starting to tell him good job and keep it up. others the like goober tell him to start selling the choclates. Goober was going to stop doing any activities with trinity, but wants jerry to start selling the chocolates. Jerry said he would not sell them if he quits.
Goober almost told jerry that itt was his fault for the distruction of room 19 but didn't.
Later a boy was counting the counts for the kids who sold the chocolates. only 5 or 6 kids got to there requirement. others got as low as 6. brother leon knew it was jerry's fault that the kids are not selling the chocolates. So he went to archie to try to get jerry to sell the chocolates. Archie tried to tell him that the assinment was over but brother leon did not understand.
this is a good book so far and i am hoping to see if jerry ever sells the chocolates.

The choclate sales "stageringly" increase, and are doing EXTREMELY well. its all thanks to the Vigils to. they would go out and sell a lot of chocolates, then say random people sold them. All of the boxes besides jerry's 50 are sold. The vigils make Janza pick a fight with jerry to get him to sell the chocolates. he calls jerry queer and he and about 15 other kids beat jerry up.
the next day, archie sets up a fight/raffle. jerry can get back at janza, and the 50 boxes can be sold. Except, jerry gets crused,archie gets in trouble by bro. jauques but gets off the hook by bro. leon. Jerry gets really hurt, buts gonna be okay, and all the chocolate is sold. Obie still hates archie and wants archie to finally get in trouble. THE END :]
I liked it. it was full of tension at the end. But overall, i think it was a good book.

Sam and Annas english film{most of the previous book in the seris; that cause ALL the drama} turns out good. Annas sister goes to yet another rehab, but is in touch with her father, and for a suprise is close to him. Then annas dad girlfriend {who gave anna an internship at Apex} fires anna as her intern because of a party{last book} that anna helped save her sister, who was having problems, thanks to cammie. But, Cammies dad {who works with annas ex-boss} decides to keep anna, so now anna is cammies dads intern. Anna is working on a big project with cammies dad, which annoys cammie.
To make it worse for cammie, her new stepmom has a daughter, who comes to live with her. That turns out really bad. Her name is mia, and she took cammies clothes and took a script from her dads {very private} home office. Also, bens jealous of annas dads driver{hes younger, like 20 i think} because he walked in when django{the driver} was about to have dinner with anna.
I liked the previous books in the series, and i like this one so far. im happy that anna and ben are back toghther, buti think thats gonna turn out bad too. Bens gotta go back to school, and is jealous. I like this book a lot

Soon the chocolate sells became popular. all the kids seem to want to sell the chocolates as soon as possible. even if you didn't sell the chocolates carter somehow would give you credit, goober noticed this when he stopped selling the chocolates. soon saposivly every one except Jerry has sold there requirement of chocolates. Archie decided to have a raffle. the raffle would be who every buys a ticket, that person get to control one action from each ticket. the actions are for the people who would be boxing. Jerry and Janza ended up fighting and Janza hurt him so bad when brother jaques stopped it, and when goober was the only one to go up to him and help him, Jerry had to be hospitalized. The awful thing was that Obie saw brother Leon watch. He did nothing the entire time. In the end Archie told Obie that he tipped brother Leon off.

Will and Cal are alone in the Jerome house. after the Grandmother leaves with uncle Tam, CAl wants to show Will where he will be sleeping at. but Will's attension is elsewhere. his yern for discovery lurs him into a alien room. it is a mix of a Victorian surgin's room, a kitchen, and a mad scientist's lair. laid out on the counter, there are several surgical knives, next to that, on a shelf, there's several pickled specimens, with formaldihyde solutions. there are several dried meats over what appears to be a stove. this is when Will leaens that there is something else down here than him and Cal. he suddenly hears a mechine gun like sound, then the steps of large feet, with machette like claws. he turns around to find that there is a huge monster standing behind him. it's huge teeth beared, drool over his bald chin, his pink body looming closer, and little 2 foot Cal walks over and kicks it in the gut and says. "get out of here Bartbely, you stinky cat."
Will, dumfounded, doesn't press for answers and is happily led by Cal out of the kitchen and into the Den.
these pages aren't alot, but they provide insight into the foundation of the homes, and what the colony's culture is like. im still trying to figure out how a house cat can be like that. most houses probally have one of those creatures in it. these people aren't big eaters, but they get enough food to live happily down there.

so far, a girl named kristen gregory is part of the pretty committee. everyone in the committee has gone away for the summer, but she's stuck here, tutoring for clothes money. she tutoring a nine-year old brat that calls her ms. gregory a lot and she hates it. after her dad gets back, she's quitting. but minutes before the brats dad walks in, the brats older brother, dune walks in, she is speechless. he was such a "ten!!!" she decided she can stay a little longer, she guesses. when the dad walks in, he's not mad at the son for getting kicked out of camp, but instead of worrying about that, they go surfing in the most disgusting water kristen has ever seen, but she doesn't care, its for a major hottie. the little nine-year-old brat wasn't going into that water, for two reasons, one, she just got a makeover ! and two, massie wouldn't even think of going into that nasty water. the dad and dune throw her in anyway, that was my favorite part. a little later, kristen and dune and the nine-year old brat drove to the skate park called the GAS. which was right near the country club, so they got a lot of golf balls in the skate park. mean while, kristen meets some of dune's friends and she likes him even more now. but what ruins the whole thing is when skye comes over and flirts with the guys and asks them if they want to come to the club for a pool party later that day, but completely ignoring kristen. now, kristen is worried she is going to lose dune to skye.
so far, this book is very interesting. i love lisi harrison's books because their very girly like me, and they relate to my life also. (most of the time). my favorite part of this book so far would be the beginning, where she's talking to the brat about massie tips and giving her completely wrong tips. it was very funny and i also love the part where kristen sees dune and becomes speechless. i really like these books and i'm looking forward in reading more of her books.

In this book, gecko fosse was convinced to be a getaway driver for his brother. Everything was going alright until he swerved to avoid an old lady and crashed. He got sent to juvie for 2 months, where he got beat up. He was there until a man named... something... came and offered him a chance to stay at a place called the halfway house. It was like being free except you had to do community service, attend therapy, and go to school. He took the offer. A guy named Arjay moran was sent to juvie for 3 years for apparent attempted murder, even though he said it was an accident. He was huge and dark skinned, but surprisinglyy peaceful. The last kid to be offered the program was terence something. He was a sarcastic kid. You don’t know why he was in juvie yet though. They all got to the halfway house, and immeadetly gecko and terence started fighting. They all went to school, and gecko was intimidated by everyone, even though everyone was intimidated by him. No one meesed with him, event though he was not a threat. Terence also took a 25 minute bathroom break every period.
I like this book because it actually takes place in the current time. Also, its not afraid to curese. This book actually reminds me of the chocolate war, except better. Oh yeah by the way… the half way house was in new york, and all the kids lived in new england.

kristen tries to improve dune, so she trusts her 9-year-old student to picking out her clothes. she firsts want this ah-dorable dress from roxy but ripple (student) says no, he likes this worn out sweatshirt and baggy shorts. later on, she comes to find out that ripple only set her up because she likes skye better than kristen for her brother. kristen sees skye with the same dress kristen wanted, on at the pool. kristen gets really mad at ripple and ripple fires her. she hires skye as her "massie interpreter" for the summer. for school, kristen formed the "witty committee" which is a webcam for 4 people in a group, talking about people they admire. she picked cleopatra for hers, and there were 3 others. so, as the story progresses, she tries to get be the hero and come out with a plan to get revenge on the country club. so what they want to do is sneak into the club and get revenge, but skye "just so happened" to be there and saved their butts, so now all the boys and of course ripple admire her more..! so kristen gets really pissed. the guards found kristen cause she wanted to try to save her reputation and be the hero (again) and be the last one out, and she got caught by the guards and sent downtown. her mother was so mad and she punished her forever! but... dune came in (as her prince) and saved her butt, saying that ripple was the one who should have gotten caught, because she snuck out and went to the club without permission. therefore, her mother lets her go easy and she doesn't get punished. later on in the story, the witty committee and herself need a plan to get revenge on skye for taking the boy she likes (no she didn't). they came up with the plan of emptying the pool and filling it with water (remember these people are really smart) and they had to find a way to get this jell-o to harden in this 80 degrees temperature. but some how, they did! skye was meeting dune at the club again (at mid-night) and so it was really dark, they couldn't see the redness of the jell-o. so skye jumps in, in her bikini while dune watches her. she screams and he laughs, she gets pissed and leaves, and the witty committee laughs and dune hears them, so they get kristen to go out there to tell him that she likes him and she hopes he likes her back. he does. so before he leaves for his trip, he ties his lucky necklace around her neck and told her he'll wait for him.
i really like this book. it's very girly and romantic, all of my favorite things in a book! my favorite part was the part when skye jumps in the jell-o. he sounds really cute and i would LOVE to meet him[:

The prime minister waas worried about the world he knows, and also the magic world. the magic world has been messing with the muggles. The minister of magic, cornelioud fudgehas been visisting the prime minister to wazrn him about lord voldimort and the death eaters. They have been using the imperious curse the death curse and curses on muggles. They also have been destroying land. The minister of magic has come to the prime minister to tell him about that and also the cases with harry potter, just to let him in on how things were going. one day cornelious fude came through a painting telling him that he is not the minister of magic any more, and that the new minister of magic would come and talk to him. The new minister came and he used to be the head of arurers. He also looked like a lion
Bellatrix, and Narcissia came to snapes house. Snape has gone back under the dark lord. Wormtail was at his house. Narcissia came to tell him about lucias moyfow, her huisband. Snape already knew that he was in jail, and that Voldamort wants revenge by getting draco mayfow to do one of his tasks and die from it. She made him promise to help him traine and make him safe.
Harry got a letter from dumbledore that he wouls come pick him up to take him somewhere safe for the rest of the summer so that nothing happens to him. when dumble dore came he told him of how serious left him every thing he owned to him. Buckbeak is going to stay with hagrid, and he also has a house. The house has to go to a blood relitive and the only one left is bellatrix, his cousin who killed him. The only way he could tell if he could have the house is if the house elf that belonged there follows and order without controll it worked too.

Will and Cal head up to thier room. Will finds that it resembles his own room, same size, same furniture placement. therre are two beds and a wardrobe, a nightstand, and, what appears to be, a fish tank. with the sound of a gong, Cal rushes down stairs for some dinner, and then followed by Will. this is where Will meets Mr. Jerome. he is a large man, that is about it. the rest of his features are the same as every other man down in the Colony. he clears his throat for a very weird prayer, but it is still clear that the people here believe the same as Will does, Roman Catholic, but with a different version, like it was the Church of England. but Mr. Jerome summons a slave, a pathedic looking man. he carried several spiced soups, and a side dish of vitamin rich, no sugars added, GRUBS, and still alive too. Will doesn't even touch his food. Mr. Jerome is showing a fierce amount of hostility to Will. the servant takes away the soup and begins to surve the main course, mush. Will aslo learns that there really isn't much love in this family. with finishing his diner, Mr jerome storms out of the house. then seven bells ring, and the Colony begins to sturr, everyone heading to one place, even Will and Cal.
i liked these 10 pages. it showed that Will is desprate to leave, but yet newly formed emotions to Cal and Tam and every other plesent being tie him down. i am very interested to learn more about the foundation of the Colony, and Chester's fate.

eberyone in annas achool already knows about her working on hermosa beach, even though she didnt say anything. Dee gets a bf from brooklyn whos in a band that her dad manages. On hermosa beach, anna starts to like the youngest producer Danny. Some people from the set went to a place called Dublins and Anna went with Danny and they danced a little. That made her like him even more. Cammie took Mia shopping, but still hates her. Cammie went to a bball game with Sam and dee, but sam only wen because of adam, but in the end, cammie and adam kiss at the after party. That mad sam sad and mad at cammie. Ben calls anna too much and shouldnt even be in CA, he should be back at Princeton where he's enrolled and schools already started like 4 weeks ago! But, they went on a nice date, which got intereupted by Annas internship for Clark.
{It was cut short} Ben met Danny, and the fact that Anna and Danny danced came out which got ben jealous and mad, and anna feeling guilty. I like this book alot because its interesting how its the story of 4 girls, [but mainly three; cammie sam and anna] and how
they each have different problems.

Cammie really likes adam now, and she finds out hes at a concert, but waaay in the back, so she uses her daddys fame to get front row seats and backstage passes for her and adam. So adam gets to meet the singer/gutarist/lead and gets a sorta private concert. On hermosa beach, anna makes a huge save. [it was with the costumes] so people are like good job to her and stuff.
Cammie and adam go to the hermosa beach party{cammie dad} where anna is because of her job, but sams dad is there for like an interveiw because he guest stars in one part {really famous actor}, so sams there too. A cute guy starts flirting with sam, but his drunk friend rats him out[not on purpose] that hes using her for her dad. makes her mad because usually she doesnt fall for it. since adam and anna went out for like a day and hes still not completly over her, he gets sad when he sees anna and danny together. danny and anna left the party in a horse-carriage thing {how cheesy/romantic!} cammie talks to the entertainment-singer guy, and her and adam go to a party, where dee is there...with Mia; the like 12 year old. at a like 18 and older party. Cammie gets mad because mia was drunk and it was dees fault for bringing her there. So cammie makes sure shes all right, and adam thinks its nice that cammie really "has a heart."
I liked how anna cammie and sam were all at the party because of like their scedules and their family. i like this book alot.

anna starts liking Django a little more after she finds out he wrote a really great peice for the piano. Then Dee has lunch with Cammie and Mia and apologies for bringing mia to that party. Then, mia leaves early, and is caught drinking downstairs with her friends {Bad Girl!..and other people!} by cammie and dee. Anna gets fired because the tabliods find out some stuff about the lead actor on Hermosa Beach, and it allwgedly came from Anna; even though Anna had no clue what was going on. Sam help Anna figure out that Cammie set her up to fire her for "taking Ben, taking Sam, and making Adam still like her"...Basically, she blames her for messing up her life. Sam and Anna tell Mia{who heard Cammie tell the press} how bad it was, and Mia tells cammies dad. Her credit cards lose their money, and Cammies Beamer gets taken away, meanwhile its Cammies 18th birthday. So Cammie threw herself a huge party, but when she goes to pay for it: declined! So she borrows money from Dee. Then she goes to drive home and her cars being towed....Asks dee for a ride. Anna gets her job back; but doesnt want it. Anna ends up with Danny, and Cammie ends up with Adam...like it ends with them both on dates.

anna starts liking Django a little more after she finds out he wrote a really great peice for the piano. Then Dee has lunch with Cammie and Mia and apologies for bringing mia to that party. Then, mia leaves early, and is caught drinking downstairs with her friends {Bad Girl!..and other people!} by cammie and dee. Anna gets fired because the tabliods find out some stuff about the lead actor on Hermosa Beach, and it allwgedly came from Anna; even though Anna had no clue what was going on. Sam help Anna figure out that Cammie set her up to fire her for "taking Ben, taking Sam, and making Adam still like her"...Basically, she blames her for messing up her life. Sam and Anna tell Mia{who heard Cammie tell the press} how bad it was, and Mia tells cammies dad. Her credit cards lose their money, and Cammies Beamer gets taken away, meanwhile its Cammies 18th birthday. So Cammie threw herself a huge party, but when she goes to pay for it: declined! So she borrows money from Dee. Then she goes to drive home and her cars being towed....Asks dee for a ride. Anna gets her job back; but doesnt want it. Anna ends up with Danny, and Cammie ends up with Adam...like it ends with them both on dates.

After harry and dumbledore left the house he took harry to meet and old retired profesor slughorn. Dumbledore wanted harry to convince him to come back. Harry did. Dumbledore told him he liked to pick famous people as favorites. When they arrived to the burrow dumbledore told harry that he would give him private lessons. Later Harry, hermionie, and the weaslyes went to diogon ally to get there suplies. While there harry hermionie, and ron ran into malfoy. Later while in fred and georges new joke shop, harry saw malfoy running to knockturn ally. so the threesum went under harry's invisablity cloak and followed him a shop. Inside he scared the owener by showing him something. Harry thought that malfoy is now a death eater and was determand to be correct. At the beginning of the school year. harry found out he was now the quidich team captin. Also, he wasn't planning to go into potions class but professor mogonagle persuaded him. When he was lent a book it was covered in notes. Also it had better ways of doing the potions and finding cures. It was the halfblood princes's book. He had ended up using the book all year. He had earned the felix felexes, a lucky potin from using the book. Ginny, ron, dean thomas, katie bell, and three other charactors were on harry's quidich team. Lavender brown now became interested in ron and they went out. Ron and hermionie stopped talking to each other too. Harry started getting feelings for ginny, and after awhile she broke up with dean and went out with harry. during harry's privet lessions dumbledore would show harry memories of voldermorts past.
the first was when voldamorts mother lived with her family the gaunts, and tried to kill the man she loved, a muggle, tom riddle.
the second was of a yunger dumbledore coming to an orphanage to tell tom riddle jr. that he is a wizard. The third was voldermort at school, with his friends, now death eaters. The fourth was of a memory of him asking professor slughorn about horhexes. wich harry had to find out the awnser by using the lucky potin. it is when your heart breacks and you can only die if all the peices are destroyed. Voldermort now has this. Another is of him killing is father,uncle, and grandparents. The last is of him killing a fat ladie for some of his airlooms. Malfoy did end up being a death eater, and his task was to kill dumbledore. Scince he couldn't snape did, and excaped. Snape was also the half blood prince.

Will definatly needs to escape. this place is too dangerous to stay for long. the Styx are really in Will's face. harasing him aroung every corner. so uncle Tam gives him a hand. he give Will a map, one that leads through a place called the Eternal City. no need to worry. the people there are all dead. a airborn strian of a plague took care of that. he also siad that patrols of Styx with bald dovermens on staroids as little pets. but Will is up for it. anything to get out. as he is on his midnight journy, he has the fortune of bumping into Cal and his trusty side kick Bartleby. after Will rescues Chester from the hold, the Styx catch up with him, and their leader, Rebecca. Will's own sister is a Styx. they take Chester back to the hold and Will and Cal escaped. after a fun Adventure of the Eternal city and it's plague, Will and Cal finally make it to the surface world. but because Will can't live with himself, nor Cal can cope, they end up going back. this time, a styx batalion has formed. but uncle take maneged to kill several, before they took his life. with the help of Imago, they escape to the Miners trian to head off into the Deeps, to where Will's father and Chester would be.
this book was boring at first, but near the end it was a real page turner.i can't wait for the next book to come out.
